Gurston Ascent Hillclimb Festival

Join us on 20 July 2025 for a brand new motorsport event – the inaugural Gurston Ascent! A car show built around a hillclimb: Take part and tackle the hill, bring your pride and joy on show, or simply enjoy the atmosphere and spectate!

What to expect:

See it. Hear it. Feel it.

Ascent Runs: Watch the spectacular array of machinery, from supercars to track focused weapons power their way up multiple hill runs throughout the day. The Ascent is the ultimate leveler. Whether a high power supercar, or a fully built toy, there is nowhere to hide on the hill!

Special Driver Appearance.

We are thrilled to be joined by professional race driver and Grand Tour test driver Abbie Eaton. Join us hillside as she conducts her own runs up the hill, a rare opportunity to see her in action up close!

The Paddock and Show Cars.

The paddock area will be open for you to walk through! You will have the chance to get up close to the hillclimb cars in the paddock area and experience the atmosphere as the action unfolds. Crowd votes will decide which show car is deserving of the Best in Show!

Live Commentary and Q&A.

You’ll be kept in the loop with live updates and car insights as they prepare to launch up the hill. A true behind-the-scenes motorsport experience, a highlight will be the hosted Q&A session with Abbie!

Great Food and Family Friendly Atmosphere.

Enjoy gourmet food trucks, coffee vendors, and local treats, plus plenty of space for kids to explore. Whether you’re a die-hard enthusiast or looking for an exciting family day out, this event has something for everyone!

Charity Support.

A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Stars Appeal Charity, to support the amazing work they do at Salisbury District Hospital.

Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Championship after April

The 2025 Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Championship has got off to an interesting start.

There were some good performances but with just four rounds complete, people have shown their hands but there is a long way to go. We may know more after the next weekend’s four rounds.

The current leader is Luke Chard-Maple in his Renault Clio on 80.80 points. Luke isn’t entered for the full weekend in June so he’s likely to fall in the standings.

Clive Stangle, in the Mitsubishi Evo, is second with 78.03 points.

Fyrth Crosse in the Ensign F3 is third on 77.51 points.
