Simon McBeath resigned as a committee member earlier this week and will step down from his duties too.
Simon has been resonsible for the layout of the event programmes for 21 years and was Press Officer for 19 of those years. Most recently he has been responsible for advertising and sponsorship for Gurston Down Speed Hill Climb.
Simon has been back in a car, successfully too. He currently holds the class record in his Formula Ford and class champion too. He was one of the key “drivers”, in both senses, behind the successful Formula Ford Festival we hold in annually in July.

Simon is going to continue driving and expec1ts to visit other hills around the country next year. And for those in the Formula Ford class, he will be at Gurston too.
We thank Simon for his service over past years.
