Running a meeting is a huge effort from lots of people from Marshalls, Scrutineers, Officials, Timekeepers, First-Responders, Vehicle Recovery, Photographers, Paddock Sweeping and Facilities Cleaning not to forget the most important – the caterers!
Helping out could include becoming part of the committee but it doesnt have to. We need all sorts of help with different levels of commitment, from one-off to full official roles – we even help with getting you trained for these roles of course.
So, we obviously welcome people to get involved in running the events at all levels of commitment.
We start with setup day at the start of the season
there are event setups each weekend of running
there is running the event itself
media and publicity
helping with maintaining the venue
and shutting the venue down at the end of the year
We also have an awards night to organise, finances to manage, licenses to obtain… there is lots to do and it’s a rewarding and fun hobby to get involved with, whatever the part that interests you.
