Welcome to the BARC (SW) Members’ Area of the Gurston web site.
The purpose of this Members’ Area is to act as a noticeboard for your Committee to inform you, the Members, about Club matters not relevant to the public or non-members; to encourage you as Members to provide input and feedback direct to your Committee; and to provide a specific contact point to enable you to make that input and feedback.
The Committee envisages posting a wide range of topics for discussion, and we invite your input and feedback on the future operation and development of your Club and Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb. We obviously hope you will put your forward ideas about how you would like your club to move forwards.
At the moment this Members’ Area is under trial, and the means of contact is via the email address below. All (polite…) emails sent in will be raised at the next available Committee meeting and if a follow up response is required this will either be via a private email back to the Correspondent, or the topic will be posted (anonymously, if requested) in the Members’ Area for wider Members’ review and feedback, as appropriate.
In time, and if there is demand, a discussion Forum may be added to the Members’ Area. For now, do please use this new means of communicating with your Committee. Of course you are still welcome to contact personally any committee member at our events, or to use the specific contact email addresses at the link at the top right of the web site screen. But we hope you will use this new Members’ Area as a central contact point where ideas and feedback can be aired and shared at leisure to help drive the club in the direction you want.
